OpenCatio3D - Catio Designer for iPhone, iPad and Mac
The same projects as the web planner, with the things a phone and tablet do best: capture on site, preview in AR, and keep the plan with you while you build.
iPhone — on site
Photos and measurements of the wall, window and ground; AR preview at full size; the checklist, cut list and steps in your pocket while you build.
iPad — design and present
The fuller design workspace: edit the frame, shelves and openings with touch or Pencil, and walk a client or family member through it.
Mac — precise work
Keyboard and mouse editing in a resizable window, with the same project files as the web planner.
AR is a preview, not a tape measure
Placing the catio at full size in your yard is the best way to test the door swing, the sightlines from the window and where the afternoon sun lands. But phone sensors are not survey instruments: build-ready exports still ask you to confirm the dimensions.
Privacy
Camera, photo and location access are asked for only when you use a feature that needs them. Raw scans and photos stay on your device unless you export them. The App Store listing will carry the full privacy details at launch; the privacy policy covers the app too.
Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later, or macOS 14 or later. One App Store download covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.
